The Yachats Ladies Club (YLC) was formed in 1927 "to promote the welfare of the community." The Lincoln County Historical Society has confirmed that the YLC is the longest running club of its type in the County. For more than 80 years, the YLC has been a place where women of all ages come together, in this social nonprofit organization, working to benefit the community. Annual events include Pie & Ice Cream Socials on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends and on the 4th of July. A Christmas Craft Bazaar is held the first weekend in December and has been held every year since 1928. A Spring Craft Bazaar is held in March.
